Happy New Year! The second day of 2012 is upon us and the books have been closed on an eventful 2011. While much of the city, including malls and tourist locations, is open today, there are several closures you’ll have to keep in mind.
January 2:
- Most banks and government offices will be closed
- Most grocery stores will be open, some with limited hours
- Malls and most stores will be business as usual
- The TTC will operate on a holiday schedule
- GO Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule
- Mayor Rob Ford’s New Year Levee will take place at City Hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
