MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Mississauga will host their first New Year’s Eve Celebration tonight at Mississauga Celebration Square.
The party will kick off at 8 p.m. with a free DJ skate party, activities for kids, live concerts, fireworks and more.
“Mississauga Celebration Square had an impressive first season and has become the city’s premier event destination,” said Paul Mitcham, commissioner, Community Services. “Now, with our first New Year’s Eve Celebration, residents can enjoy a new way to ring in the new year with a mix of outdoor activities, great food and stellar entertainment.”
All activities and concerts will be free and refreshments will be available for purchase from a number of food vendors.
There will be several road closures around the City Centre to ensure residents are kept safe during the event and fireworks.
