TORONTO, Ont. – Scarborough General Hospital is reportedly conducting an internal review after the death of the first baby born in the GTA in 2012.
Ming Shui Lei was born 40 seconds after midnight, but lived just five days.
The baby died on Jan. 5.
His mother missed two postpartum assessment appointments at the hospital.
The Toronto Star reported the coroner’s office is not ruling out an inquest into the death.
