TORONTO, On. – East York General won the Toronto New Year’s baby race with a little one born at 12:34 a.m.
The second birth was about 30 minutes later at Lakeridge Health, and number three was born at North York General just seven seconds later.
However, it looks like numerologists will be having fun with that second one.
Little Tucker Williams was born at 1:11:01 on 1-1-2011.
His father said nobody noticed it at first.
“None of us were really looking at the clock, and she was just pushing for over two hours,” said Mr. Williams. “Then the doctors turned around and said ‘Do you realize it is 1:11 a.m.?’ It’s unbelievable, especially because he also weights 10 pounds and 1 ounce as well … it’s incredible.”
Dad said little Tucker’s hockey sweater will be number 11, eventually.
